BRN Phoenix is led by an experienced executive management team from successful wireless and networking companies, including Bell Labs, Extreme Networks, Nokia Networks, Nortel Networks, BeamReach Networks and Radix Technologies.

Dale Branlund, Chief Technology Officer
Dale Branlund is a co-founder of BRN Phoenix and brings over 31 years of experience in executive and engineering management, technology development and innovation to the company. Dale was co-founder and CTO/VP Engineering at BeamReach Networks, where he led the development of its Adaptive Multibeam OFDM technology and the BeamPlex system. Previously, Dale was co-founder and VP of Engineering at Radix Technologies, where he provided management oversight and technical guidance for over 75 programs in high-speed digital signal processing, adaptive beamforming, superresolution direction finding, ASICs, adaptive array processing, high speed communication links and high dynamic range RF design. Dale is an expert in 802.16 technologies and an industry leader in adaptive array processing, RF engineering, advanced communications techniques, digital signal processing, ASIC and MAC protocols. He holds a BSEE from Cal Poly State University at San Luis Obispo and a MSEE from the University of Santa Clara.

Louis Rajczi, VP Business Development & Marketing
Louis Rajczi brings 20 years of telecommunications experience in executive management, finance, business development and software development. From 1999- 2007, Mr. Rajczi was a Vice President & Investment Partner at Siemens Venture Capital (SVC). While there, his primary focus was sourcing and managing investments related to mobile and fixed wireless network infrastructure, mobile devices, fixed mobile convergence and mobile enterprise, including: Beamreach Networks, Cambridge Silicon Radio, Chantry Networks, Global Locate, Inc., and Tropos Networks. Before joining SVC, Mr. Rajczi worked in the office of the CTO for Siemens' mobile division in Munich, Germany and has held a variety of engineering, product management, marketing and business development positions for both Nortel Networks and Siemens in the USA, Canada and Germany. Mr. Rajczi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1986 and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in 1990.

Lawrence Ho, VP Engineering
Lawrence Ho brings over 16 years of experience, including executive engineering management roles at Extreme Networks, AirFlow Networks and a Bell Labs venture (now part of Avaya) and senior technical management roles at Lucent Technologies. He lead hardware, ASIC, and software engineering teams and developed some of the industry’s most widely deployed networking and wireless systems and network security systems, including industry firsts such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch routers. These products have logged billions of US dollars in sales, won 12 industry awards, and are deployed on five continents (e.g., AT&T, US Pentagon, Microsoft, NTT, & Korean Telecom etc). Lawrence also contributed to the advancement of communications technology as a Principal Investigator/Group Leader at Bell Laboratories. His Bell Labs group was later spun off as a Lucent, NEC, SK Telecom and VC funded venture, where he served as VP of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer. Lawrence holds multiple patents, received his Ph.D. (parallel computing, physics, and molecular biology) and M.S. (semiconductor devices) from Yale University, and was awarded the William D. Carey Award by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Andy Hill, VP Operations
Andy Hill brings over 17 years of manufacturing experience the telecom and consumer electronics industries, including senior roles at Nokia Networks, Anthology Solutions, Harris Corporation and Stanford Telecom. In his role as General Manager of Operations for Nokia Networks, Mr. Hill’s organization provided product development support and managed the manufacturing activities for all Nokia Networks US divisions. At Anthology Solutions, Andy led the Operations organization that implemented Anthology’s global supply chain strategy and championed the research, selection, and implementation of an offshore ODM vendor for Anthology’s products. As manager of the Manufacturing Technology group at Harris Corporation, and his team were responsible for Harris DTS’s successful transition from an internal manufacturing process to a fully outsourced model. Andy holds a B.S. Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.
